As the Lead Product Designer for “Anonshot,” a mobile photography app designed for travellers, I was responsible for guiding the project from its initial concept through the discovery and design phases, all the way to a seamless handoff to development. The app allows users to have professional photos taken while travelling abroad without having to hand over their phone, addressing concerns of theft and providing an alternative to selfies.
The user journey was designed to be simple and efficient. Both the photographer and the traveller download the app, connect via a shared code or QR scan, and the photographer captures the image. The photo then appears in the traveller’s account for approval and payment. Once approved and paid, the user can download the image directly to their device.
My goal throughout the design process was to create a streamlined experience that allowed users to easily connect with photographers and quickly receive high-quality photos, ensuring both convenience and security for travellers.
